Call to Surrender

I (Craig) had an opportunity to preach at church this Sunday (actually my first time ever preaching in a church).  The message, "How Much Does It Cost?", was really a call to fully surrender to Jesus.  Included were many of the lessons that I have learned with our journey with Anastasha.

You can watch it here if you are interested.

  1. Just another way that GOd is using you to show others, that joy can shine through death even when it seems too hard. What a gift God has given you.

  2. Dear DeLisi Family,

I suppose it would make good enough sense that I heard about your journey with Anastasha as a result of living in the same small town, but the more I think about it, how can it not be God at work simply doing what He does best? Bringing strangers, or as He sees it, bringing His children together to love and learn from one another. I pray for your family as you are on my heart very often. Reflection reminds me of what I often forget - that though I may find mysterious the ways of God, His plan is perfect. The stories He writes always turn out better than any I could dream up.

My name is Kari Cigainero, which may or may not sound familiar from the clinic. Somehow I came across your blog a couple of months ago, and contacting you has been on my heart. Long story short, my sister was born with Trisomy 18 and died a week after her birth. She is 2 years older than me, which makes her twenty-four, so though it was many years ago and happened before I was born, the reverberations impact us all still today.

I would love to visit with you sometime, but for now just want to say I truly admire your transparency and am encouraged by your faithfulness. If any of the kids need a friend, someone to empathize, or just an afternoon out for ice cream, I would be privileged to make my available to them. Please contact me at if I can possibly be of help in any way.

May God continue to bless your family as you are a blessing to others.
